Congratulations Bunz!

It's hilarious but somehow I have done over a thousand Bunz trades! I guess I have to concede, I do Bunz an unusual amount. 

It has been loads of fun. I've deeply enjoyed meeting people all around Toronto. Thank you Bunz for being such a friendly, sweet community. Thank you Emily (wherever you are) for getting this whole thing rolling. 

I've generally tried (and often failed!) to offer trades where the other person can feel like they're getting at least a fair deal with me. I've struggled to let go of (or at least relax over) imagined monetary values. I love books and it's very satisfying to pass books along for a new stint in someone else's collection.

Thank you to everyone who's traded with me.

Thanks to @bunzofficial for providing the platform. I'm intrigued and excited to see where things go with BTZ, and I also look forward to continued improvements in trading functionality and navigation. It's a tough challenge to create a business and maintain a community at the same time, and I  hope the team manages to evolve towards a sustainable model.

I'm grateful for the community. I want to thank the @bunzofficial team for their support and patience, and their hard work (I may grumble about stuff but at 700 trades I can't exactly say the system is non-functional).

Nostalgia. It's delicate, but potent. 

In Greek, nostalgia literally means the pain from an old wound. It's a twinge in your heart, far more powerful than memory alone. This device isn't a space ship -- it's a time machine. It goes backwards, and forwards… takes us to a place where we ache to go again. It's not called 'the Wheel' -- 

It's called the Carousel. 

It lets us travel the way a child travels. Around and around, and back home again. To a place where we know we are loved.
