A DVD of Office Space.  I don’t have a red Swingline stapler, or wear pieces of flair, but I do have this DVD.

Have an interest in injection molding?  Or all potential messages in bottles?  This is a PET injection molding preform for a plastic bottle with a pen from its manufacturer sealed inside.

This small plastic box contains four pushpins, four tacks with plastic, star-shaped heads, a few coated paper clips, and two slightly larger clips to hold a little more paper together.  IBM branded, still in the bag from when it was given to me years ago.  Size-wise, it looks to be roughly three paper clips by three paper clips.

A tiny button with the logo of the OpenStreetMap project on it.  Got it quite a few years back, at an event to get more of Toronto mapped, where people would be lent handheld GPS units, and their recorded paths would be cleaned up and put on the map.  My walk added some park paths.

The Nickelodeon Nick Puzzler Number is an electronic “game” that was based around arithmetic.  It takes three AAA batteries (not included), and makes annoying beeps when the sound is on.  A product of 1995, the display is a small, single-line LCD.

A BNIP IKEA Gäspa twin size fitted sheet that was in my linen storage trunk.  I picked it up a few years ago, used my other sheets, then got rid of the twin-sized bed.  It’s a plain white sheet.  A single sheet.

A “small” BergHOFF EarthChef Pro rimmed ceramic non-stick cookie sheet that is too large for my apartment’s oven.  The cooking surface is 13.5” x 9.75”, but the exterior dimensions are 17” x 10.75”.  It would fit, were it not for the easy to grip extensions off of the rim.

Second Yoga jeans, dark blue skinny jeans made in Canada a few years ago.  Size 26 (fits closer to a 27”), 30” inseam, cotton/poly/Lycra blend.  Some wear at the bottomed the ankles, and small pockets.  Never machine dried, always washed in cold water.

I’m not a fan of the feel of the fabric or the cut, and prefer 100% cotton straight-legged jeans with a 32” inseam.  This pair left my jeans rotation when I got some 100% cotton, straight-legged jeans, with a 32” inseam, and larger pockets.

This is the second edition of the Paperback Oxford Canadian Dictionary, released in 2006.  A rather slender volume for its 1212 pages, it’s a packed lexicon, omitting etymological detail.  Contains terms generally considered to be Canadian, such as two-four and hoser, in addition to more standard terms.

Need a low security, 140cm cable lock designed for winter use to challenge your local raccoons?  Need something you could chomp through with a cable cutter if something goes wrong?  This is the cable lock that came with a Ski Tote from the nineties.  I don’t have the tote, but this cable was intended to fit through it and tie your skis to the rack outside the chalet.  The wheels for the combination have a knobbly bit as their 0 position, for ease of use when gloved.

Not recommend for securing bicycles.  Tethering a green bin to a fence in an area protected from the rain, or holding a small stack of patio chairs together, maybe.

There is a small section of the cable where the plastic coating is scraped and thin.  I do not have the instructions for changing the combination.

This is a plastic measuring cup made for liquids.  Low capacity, 250mL.

This is the non-insulated, 16 oz (Starbucks grande) reusable cup that Starbucks released last year with the launch of their winter drinks.  It needs a sleeve when used with hot drinks, the lid takes some effort to snap on, and the base of the interior is nicely rounded for ease of washing out the sugary dairy concoctions it was designed for.

This is a little info booklet about the stretch of Dundas that runs between Bathurst and Ossington, put together by the BIA a couple of years back.  Includes a yuzu basil mojito recipe.  Has a few blank pages at the back.

If you are on that stretch of Dundas, I will trade there.

An unused, regular-sized Ass Saver mudguard with MEC branding on it.  It’s a plastic mudguard that needs no tools to install.  Just fold, insert under your bike’s saddle, and fold the tip to secure.  

The hangtag section that detaches is loose, it normally attached to the mudguard at both ends, but one end has detached.  So no hanging it as a souvenir of MEC (unless you have a better way of mounting it).

This Phoenix Rising is the first book in the Ministry of Peculiar Occurrences series, and is by Pip Ballantine and Tee Morris.  It was published in 2011.  It is not the Phoenix Rising that some of us may have read in the 90s.  It is also not the Phoenix Rising that has played against TFC II in other years.

A pair of new, fuzzy grey mittens.  The polyester sort that will have snow cake onto them and freeze your fingers in a snowball fight.

Size is considered to be “one size”, and is too short to comfortably fit me (my hands are 18cm from the tips of my fingers to the base of my palms).  No pets or smoking in my apartment, though they have been stored for a few months.

16 plastic balls with a magnet inside.  The magnets are only strong enough to support a chain of six balls.  Each ball is roughly 16mm in diameter.
