NEW, NEVER USED - but sheds white stuff a little. I have all dark colour bedding, and the white stuff coming from this blanket (just from measuring on bed, taking pics, etc) drives me nuts! If you have white bedding, it won’t bother you as much Lol! NEVER USED, but no tags or packaging. It’s been in storage since I bought it because I bought a different one right after I bought this one.

Does anyone have any very large plastic containers to spare? I have only 2, and they’re about 60L each. I’m looking for that size and up. The really big ones. I have stuff on my profile to trade, but am on ODSP, so not looking for people asking for giftcards or expensive items. I am looking for people maybe just looking to let these go for free, for something to trade on my profile, or possibly that I can go out to buy at low cost - because if I had the money, I would just go out and buy some of these new. Long story, kinda short, I live in TCHC, on ODSP, have an auto immune disease, on medication that lowers my immune system, have asthma, bad allergies, and physical limitations. Have had many problems in this apartment over the past (almost) 6 years. Just at the end of 2020, had a mouse infestation (coming in from radiators), TCHC was hardly any help, looks like TCHC is not going to help me and will not help me clean up the mess. It seems the mice haven’t been back (except for once), but I HATE THIS APARTMENT, and the mouse infestation just pushed me over the edge. I still have mouse poop and pee on the floor and in my kitchen cupboards because it takes me hours and hours and hours to clean just a tiny bit of my apartment, and I physically pay for it for the next couple days after. The asthma and allergies, and immune system lowering drugs make that apartment VERY unhealthy for me to be in, never mind cleaning all by myself.
So here we are, and I’ve decided that if Housing isn’t going to do anything to make sure the mice never come back (like block off the holes in the walls, that I’ve tried to, but it’s not permanent), then I’m going to start cleaning and packing up my apartment for good. I’m pretty sure I have to do 40 loads of laundry (linens, throw pillows, bed linens, bed pillows, clothes), and clean every other thing that the mice have ran their little feet on and pooped and peed on... so if I’m going to clean, I can’t ever physically do this again. It’s needs to all be packed up, and I’ll just live with the basics. I can’t use cardboard boxes because the mice have eaten through some of my boxes and peed on them. I have to put everything in hard plastic containers.
*I have posted on Caremongering (Toronto, and Scarb) before about advice and supplies on this issue, and I thank you all for your support on those posts, but for this post I need only spare bins. I have cleaning supplies and I have tried and tried everything with TCHC. I cry every time I try to deal with this, and on top of my crippling walking depression, I have no more capacity to mentally or physically deal with this situation anymore. I will be begging for a transfer (for many reasons) from that apartment. I am absolutely desperate. Thank you all for your time. ❤️

I have noticed lately that 75-85% of all my interactions on this app are now asking for gift cards. It is seriously prohibiting true trading and defeats the actual purpose of this app. The spirit of this place is to trade items for other items and not ask for money or gift cards. I understand that you have nice items that you may want a high value for, or maybe you don’t want any more things and are trying to declutter. If you only want gc for some items that may have high values, consider places like Kijiji or Craigslist. This isn’t the place for selling your things! I understand asking for a gc once in a while, but it seems this has become the standard.
The whole point of this app is that we’re trying to SAVE money, or to live frugally, or to reuse and recycle. Asking only for gc destroys this purpose and honestly, a lot of us are struggling financially, I can’t just go out and buy a gc for you. Why? I might as well go buy the item from the store, brand new.

I’m just losing all interest in this app because I send out 10 different messages after searching for an item, and most of them either don’t answer, or ask for gc. What is the point anymore? It is extremely frustrating.

Is there any way to have a separate section for true trading? A section for the way this community is supposed to work? I have enjoyed many true trades on this app over the past couple years, from friendly people, and got some awesome things! I’ve also gotten rid of many of my items and that makes me so happy! It is such an awesome idea. I am a true believer in the idea of Bunz.
I also understand that occasionally, a gc, or money can be used to get an item that you REALLY want, and if both parties are good with that, then by all means, go for it! But this should not be the norm, it should be the exception.

It’s just so sad that it has become a different place lately, and it’s almost a waste of time to come here now.

I am looking for like-minded people to trade with. Let’s TRUE TRADE MORE!

TL;DR: I guess this post is about wanting to trade more through Bunz so I can make the most of the holidays.

As we're all going through these unprecedented times, and with the holidays fast approaching, I'm sure a lot of us are struggling with having little money to "do Christmas" this year.
I am mostly good, as I bought little stuff here and there for my family throughout the year, even last year, and I'm pulling it all out to give as gifts this year. Times are still tough though, and I'm looking to trade things instead of buying things this year. I have yet to get my best friend and sister anything, and to be honest, they don't need more "stuff", so I'm at a loss on what to gift them. I've been seraching Bunz for ideas, but haven't really come across anything to trade for.

I am also saddled with a LOT of stuff in my apartment that has been designated for Bunz, but no takers yet. I would love to get a lot of these things out! I could donate some to charity but I don't drive, so taking things for drop off is a lot of work, and with the winter now, I can't really take the bundle buggy on the bus to Value Village etc. I usually do Bunz trades one at a time, or as bundle trades, but I'm in Scarborough, so sometimes it takes hours on the TTC to get downtown for a trade and back, which I don't mind, but I'm now immuno-compromised, and sometimes trading just 1 can of canned goods isn't worth the time (to be honest). I would LOVE to make some good bundle trades!

Well, here's my usual post, please take my stuff!!
As you can see up there, my kitty Seven and I would really like to get rid of all this extra stuff we've had up on Bunz for a couple of years now! I'm not especially picky, I love TRUE TRADES, and I love bundling trades. If you want a lot of stuff from my profile, let me know - the more the better! I've had some excellent trades before, and would really like to get rid of the rest of the stuff I have taking up room.

I always look at profiles, and always TRY really hard to make a good trade for both of us, however, I am usually not looking for more stuff that I don't need. I guess that's true for most of us :) and **Not really accepting BTZ anymore, as I have nothing to use them for.**
