This is a big book on sexuality and some neat history of sex in popular culture in North America, all in pretty accessible language and with humour. Often used by sex educators in training. Some info has changed since the 2009 edition (e.g. STIs and treatment), but much remains the same.

Pros: 
- awesome tips and thorough explanations
- funny pictures

Cons:
-crappy coverage of trans, intersex, and sex workers 
- pretty heterosexual-oriented (though this might be a pro for some)
