This privacy policy (our "Privacy Policy") sets out the Personal Information processing practices of BUNZ Inc., and/or its affiliates and subsidiaries (references to, "BUNZ", "we", "us", or "our" are references to BUNZ Inc.) and our Service Providers in the use of our website (our "Website") and/or or mobile application (together the "Platform"), including the trade listing service and collection and use of BTZ tokens (collectively with the Platform, the "Services"). In formal terms, BUNZ Inc., ("BUNZ", "we" or "us"), registered in Canada, is the data controller of and accountable organization for the Personal Information described in this Privacy Policy.
We may update the Privacy Policy from time to time and you are responsible for periodically reviewing the most current version of the Privacy Policy on our Website. The date of last update is indicated at the end of this Policy. If our Privacy Policy is not acceptable to you, please do not use our Services. Your continued use of our Services or submission of Personal Information will be understood as your ongoing acceptance of our updated Privacy Policy.
In our Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" has the same meaning as under applicable privacy legislation and includes any information about an identifiable individual. The phrase "Service Providers" includes, but is not limited to, any licensors, suppliers, information providers or other third parties that may process Personal Information when providing services to Bunz. The term "Users" refers to users of our Services.
We limit the Personal Information we collect to what we need for the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy. We collect Personal Information in the following ways when you visit our Site, use our Platform, and otherwise engage with our Services:
If you access the Platform through a mobile device and you do not want your device to provide us with location-tracking information, you can disable the GPS or other location-tracking functions on your device, provided your device allows you to do this. BUNZ is generally not intended for, nor targeted to, individuals under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly request or collect Personal Information from any person under 14 years of age. If we learn that we have received information directly from a child who is under the age of 14, we will delete the information in accordance with applicable law.

Certain Personal Information that you upload to our Platform will be available to other Users, such as your public profile, posts, comments, likes, reviews, membership in Groups, and engagement with respect to Groups, Meetups, and their content. Since our Platform allows you to directly contact other Users, we recommend that you consider how you share your Personal Information when doing so. You are solely responsible for the Personal Information you share with other Users through our Platform. We cannot offer assurances regarding how other Users will use the information that you share with them over our Platform.
BUNZ uses Service Providers to assist in the delivery of our Platform and Services. We only share Personal Information with Service Providers as needed for them to provide their services to us. We require our Service Providers to implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the Personal Information that they process, with considerations being given to the quantity and sensitivity of the information in question. Our Service Providers may be outside of your province of residence and even outside of Canada. Personal Information will be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is held, and may be subject to disclosure to the governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies of such other jurisdiction as a result.
Our Platform may use social media plugins, which are provided and operated by third party social media companies. These plugins allow Users to choose to share information from our Platform (such as a post) to the third party social media platform. The third party's use of the information will be directed by the User's settings with that social media platform, and in accordance with its own privacy policy. We encourage Users to review the third party's privacy policy to learn about its data practices.
We may place link and advertisements from third parties on our Platform. These third parties are not owned by or affiliated with BUNZ. If you click on an ad or link, you will be redirected to the third party's website. By engaging with the link or ad and the third party's website, you are providing information to those third parties. Their use of your information is beyond the scope of this Privacy Policy. We recommend that you review the third party's privacy policy to better understand how they process your personal information.
BUNZ may disclose Personal Information for the purposes of evaluating or conducting a merger, acquisition, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our business and assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which Personal Information held by us is among the assets transferred. Any such disclosures will be done in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
We may also disclose Personal Information: (i) as required or permitted by applicable law; (ii) where we determine that disclosure of specific information is necessary to comply with the request of a law enforcement or regulatory agency or other legal process; (iii) as necessary to support an audit, or to comply with similar corporate governance functions; (iii) to enforce our policies, Terms of Use, or to protect our or others' legal rights, property, or safety, or (iv) when you otherwise consent or direct us to share Personal Information.
BUNZ is committed to keeping your Personal Information secure. We have implemented administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, destruction, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, and no method of storing electronic information, can be 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of the Personal Information that we process.
We store your Personal Information for no longer than necessary to achieve the purposes for which the information was collected, or as may be required or permitted under applicable law. To determine the appropriate retention period, BUNZ considers the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the Personal Information; the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the Personal Information; the purposes for which we process the Personal Information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means; and the applicable legal requirements
We recommend that all Users take steps to protect against unauthorized access to their devices and accounts by, for example, using a robust password, signing off after using a shared computer, and keeping your login credentials private.
You may review, update, correct, or delete the Personal Information provided in your BUNZ account via your account settings at any time.
User Account Deactivation:
You can deactivate your BUNZ account at any time in your BUNZ account settings. All items posted to your profile will be de-listed and no longer render in searches. Your @username will be de-listed and no longer render in searches. Please note that account deactivation is not the same as account deletion. When an account is deactivated, BUNZ will retain the account details and any associated Personal Information in case you wish to reactivate your account in future. To reactivate your account, you can do so by logging back in.
User Account Deletion Requests:
Users can request the deletion of their account and account data by reaching out to BUNZ at hello@bunz.com with their request. We will remove any and all items listed on your account, remove your @username, your display name, and associated email address. Deletion is permanent and you will not be able to reactivated the same account once completed.
Please note that your account and items may continue to render in third-party search results (e.g., Google) for a period of time post-deletion as these URL's and metadata are cached in the search results.
Please also note that any reviews, forum postings and similar materials posted by you may continue to be publicly available on the Platform after deletion.
Subject to applicable privacy laws, you may have the right to request access to and correction of your Personal Information held by BUNZ, and to request that your Personal Information be made available to you in a structured, commonly used technological format. To exercise these rights, please submit a detailed written request to our Privacy Officer at privacy@bunz.com.
You have the option to refuse or withdraw consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information at any time. To do so, please contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@bunz.com. Before effecting such a request, we may inform you of how it may affect your ability to use and engage with our Platform and Services.
