ISO Co-op housing

Hi,

I’m quite eager to move into one of the city’s many co-operative housing buildings.

I’ve been told by acquaintances that you have to know a current member and get vetted by them. All the waitlists are closed.

Can anyone give me advice regarding securing a co-op suite?

I’d especially like to hear from current housing co-op members.
