Freshly foraged and pickled with lemon, dill, sugar, pink sea salt, and garlic ^_^ If you havent tried fiddleheads before, they have a texture kind of like asparagus, with a much milder taste. This species is the local wood fern, which is more work for me to clean but they taste better than the Ostrich ferns at market! Use them like you would any greens or pickles; are super cute garnishes. I have foraged and eaten these for 2 years now; I have a finicky stomach so would be the first to know if somethings off. There are no other look-alike plants they could possibly get mixed up with 💚 These are super rare to find in stores, and are only available this short week in April basically. Hand foraged and cleaned up by me yesterday, get them while they're fresh! In 1 pt. mason jars, pickup in Port Coquitlam 💚
