Email Notifications for Chats (Update)

Based on our users feedback we have slightly updated how we notify you about Chat Messages via email:

• You will receive an email notification per Chat and will see who messaged you for the Post.
• You will receive only one email notification per Chat since the last time you checked it. Once you have read all the new messages in the Chat, you can receive an email for new messages in that Chat again.
• You will receive an email notification 30 minutes after the first message you missed in a chat. If you check the Chat before then, you won’t receive an email.

This change does not affect Push Notifications.

You can change your notification preferences in Settings at any time.

You can have different preferences for push notifications and email notifications.
