Dōshite?!

Apologies in advance, this is indeed a rant post. I can't believe I'm posting this but honestly, what's wrong with some people?

I recently traded a brand new with tag top for a turtleneck sweater that's in "great condition". After the trade, I inspected the turtleneck and noticed it had many flaws:

• both armpits were worn out
• the shoulders were worn out
• part of the front chest was worn out
• the entire sweater had pilling and pulls
• the sleeve seams had multiple abrasions / holes
• one of the sleeve forearms had 2 abrasions / holes

If I had to describe the condition, it would be very used. It wouldn't even qualify as good used condition, let alone great.

I messaged the Bun with photographs and she responded, "Oh I'm so sorry about that". I asked if she had anything else for trade that isn't posted; if not, I would like to trade back. I never heard from her after that. A couple of days later, I saw that she posted some ceramic planters. I asked if I can trade the turtleneck back for them, she blocked me right after.

For the record, I checked her reviews; there weren't many but they were all positive. I honestly did not think this would be a problematic trade. It blows my mind that this happened and that she's purposely choosing to not right her wrong. I just don't get it :/

I never inspected items during a meetup because there's always been an implicit trust between me and the other trader. Even when I've experienced problems with the items in the past, I was always able to work out a solution with the other Bun. I'm disappointed that this Bun has tarnished my trust of others and trading in general. I hope that not many of you can relate to this because this experience was pretty shitty and I know for a fact that there are better people on this platform.
