Radio-controlled Atomic Clock Conversions

5,000

Description

Do you have an analogue wall clock you love but it doesn't keep good time, or you're just tired of setting it twice a year for daylight savings? I can convert the module to one that sets itself based on the NIST's atomic radio time signal broadcast from Ft. Collins, Colorado. It will synchronize automatically (weather permitting) every night and automatically adjust to daylight savings time.

Cost is approx $50 or equivalent trade value, includes all labor and materials. Travel may incur additional costs if you are out of my way.

Note 1: Not all clocks can be converted, I can assess this by photo. Some clocks may require cutting or 3d printing adapters which I can perform in my workshop. Note 2: the signal reception may vary based on your local geography and sources of radio noise. For example, if you live in a basement you won't get good reception but condos tend to be very good. I can help you assess these factors.
