It’s a professional baker’s secret ingredient for deeply browned, lofty yeasted bakes and the home pizzamaker’s best friend when trying to achieve the perfect crust on a regular stove. Made from sprouted grain, diastatic malt powder aids in the rise, color, flavor, and texture of yeasted doughs. Opened bag that’s since been re-vacuum sealed. About 900g of the original 1kg left. Can also portion this out if you need less (you don’t need to add a lot — typically 0.25% to 1% of the total weight of the flour in your recipe).
