Pre 2000 era for sure

This belong to my aunt in Las Vegas, who definitely had a flare for these things but unfortunately I do not and this lovely piece is just being wasted on me.

I never really understood why these retail for so much

It's a very yellow color gold reflecting what was in style at that time
