VINTAGE 1960s Camera Hot Shoe extension / Flash holder

This belonged to my father, who was an amateur photographer. Was purchased in the early 1960s. Is missing three screws to secure the hot shoe. Please see pictures. Will be posting other photo equipment over the next few weeks. Do not hesitate to ask questions - always happy to answer.
