AKG K551W (WHITE) REFERENCE HEADPHONE - AKA Princess Leia

Originally cost $300 but looking for less and willing to trade this in conjunction with other items on my profile towards a high priority ISO.

These are rare and discontinued, in white and not the other colours or reproduction ones that still are on different colours. The cheapest I found on eBay out of the only two listings(at the moment of posting) was well over $200 after conversions, shipping, and/or duties etc to CDN, hence the included btz value as reference.

Mine is MINT condition, Like New In Box. I opened to test out and display along with my collection, but haven't burned them in yet so you'll have to burn them in yourself. Burn in means to use the headphones a lot until the mechanics sound it's best. Like fine wine the more you use them.

These are closed-back cans but they sound very airy just like open cans. Amazing soundstage. Seriously amazing soundstage. Amazing sound separation. These are REFERENCE headphones, so for example, no exaggerated bass signatures and it'll play the audio file as bass heavy as it was intended on the song. Because they're very neutral(reference) these are perfect for mixing audio or video editing. They have bass but if you're a basshead and you've only had bass heavy cans then these aren't for you as these do NOT exaggerate or curve the low(bass) frequencies. These play the frequencies as how they're meant to be played.

Apple compatible through 3.5mm jack. Has a microphone, play/pause and +/- volume buttons. I'm not sure if the buttons work for Android.
