Homemade Facemasks

Description

Homemade facemasks. Made using recommendations from Michael Garron Hospital. Interior is light colour, 100% cotton, exterior is darker colour, cotton and polyester blend.

Elastic is a soft black elastic, comfortable for your ears.

I use a thicker cotton interior fabric, which is both breathable and a little stiff so the mask keeps its shape nicely and does not go into your mouth when you’re talking.

I am currently making masks for two organizations and I’m looking to sell a small batch to pay for supplies. Currently I’m asking $10ish worth of BTZ or the right trade (ideally, a large swath of a fabric with a print, if you have it, white wine or beer).

Posting on BUNZ is really just to keep me going so I can give them to those who need it. I just gave a big batch to a non-profit LTC. Staff were asking for masks to use while on transit on the way to work, so they protect residents.

My goal is to make 4 masks to donate for every mask I trade - so know your deal is going to a good cause!

They are durable, and generally well made.

I only have a couple left in navy and beige. Lots of back and white, or navy and white. I can take special orders of all black, all navy or all white, but then you won’t know which side is which.
