Sock and stocking forms were used in the 1800's thru the 1940s. First used in industry, they soon became popular in the home to stretch and prevent washed wool socks from shrinking until synthetic nylon came into use after WWII. #Decor #Whimsical #LaundryRoom #Holidays #Kidsroom #TextileDisplay #antique #retaildisplay #Industrial #Craft #Creative #Collection
