This Canada Day we are holding a fun-raiser event to meet our community and to raise funds so that we can continue doing what we do--we also may happen to break a few records! If you are looking for a different way to spend July 1 this year, consider joining us.

WHO? This invitation is for everyone! Families (there will be music, refreshments, and a chance for to break records!) Artists/crafters (come and buy some album covers for your next project, or some pieces of literally groovy records to use as a texture applicator, or perhaps you'd like to try to fashion your own bowls a la pinterest?) And record and music enthusiasts! (this whole event started with a donation of records....come and check them out, you betcha don't have this one over here. AND it's for a good cause!)

WELL WHO ARE WE, AND WHAT DO WE DO? Club Sandwich is a food security group that is comprised entirely of volunteers, donating and sharing what they can to close the meal gap--that stretch of time that has grown uncomfortably long between meals for some of our most vulnerable neighbours. We provide portable, take-away food items to individuals, seniors and families that are served by our community partners.

WHY?
Covid closures, re-allotment of resources, even lack of commuters in the city have all impacted hungry Torontonians in a serious way. Volunteers donate what they can: as few as one sandwich, or as many as dozens, so that collectively our efforts can serve more people.
