Kids' Toy Thingy (Or adults who are connected to their inner children)

2 parts -- 1 metal track part and 1 plastic and metal roller part (wheel). Parts both in excellent condition but I can't really get them working properly together -- the wheel easily down the smooth metal part but not so much along the "wavy" part... I think it could likely be bent slightly to be super smooth but i don't wanna mess with it!
