Do You Have Betamax? You Can HAVE These!!!

I have 15 Beta video tapes; I just recently got rid of the Beta so no use for these. These tapes are a mishmash of movies and television shows recorded from 1984-ish to 1989-ish. This could be a really fun social/anthropological/pop culture immersion. Some of the recordings include:

• Ewoks Battle for Endor
• (Original) Annie
• the first several seasons of KIDS Incorporated (if you don’t know what this is look it up!)
• episodes of an old soap called, Generations
• music videos from Good Rockin’ Tonight, Video Hits, and the CHUM Countdown ... and some commercials from that era (but frankly my dad was super good at editing them out)!

No home movies or personal recordings on these - all from 1980’s television.

Could also be repurposed to use for your own recordings.

If I could play these again I would, but I think passing them on to the right person would be fun. I’m also curious how many folks have a working Beta player.
