1940s Wedding Dress

Purchased in 1999 for $230. In excellent vintage condition. Measures approx. 34"x 28"x free. Cream satin, some faint marks on hem. Was cleaned for preservation in 2009, has been stored since until recently for photos. Gauntlet style sleeves, self-covered buttons up back, beautiful floral work and mesh over decolletage. Would do well with a light crinoline, probably best suited for someone 5'6" or under. Gorgeous piece. Perfect for a cooler-season wedding. #wedding
