Clothing On Bunz

Friends, let’s talk about trading clothes and Bunz etiquette. Personally, I’m feeling frustrated with the lack of consideration from some other buns—I’ve had four trades recently in which I realized upon inspecting my new item that it had holes. (And another trade this week in which I confirmed that the sweater didn’t have holes, but spent 20 minutes of my life traveling to the trade to find out it had stains the bun failed to disclose.)

To me, that just doesn’t fly. Because you have to get the garment out to photograph it, right? So it’s not hard to just give it a good once-over right then to make sure it’s in good shape to trade. And then, if you’ve had the piece in your Bunz box for a while, check it over before you head out to trade (because moths and such, you know). It’s the decent thing to do.

While the buns I traded with agreed to trade back, or do alternate trades, this required extra time that I didn’t really have. Because of this, I’m now really hesitant to trade for clothing. Which is a shame, because I’ve found some real gems on Bunz. 😢 So, can we all commit to being more diligent and considerate, please?
