The electric wine bottle opener provides an ergonomically designed, soft-grip handle that fits in the palm of your hand for a firm grip. Includes an LED charging light on top and a power indicator light on the base, has a small footprint that takes up minimal space on a kitchen counter, bar, table, or buffet. A full recharge takes about six to eight hours.
We got this at Christmas and have pulled a few corks with it. It works well on wine that is relatively new: up to two or three years old, or non-vintage. We drink mostly vintage wines whose corks are often longer and more brittle, and it doesn't work so well on them.
A new one costs $40.
